Our staff is certified, experienced and completely voluntary. Background checks are done to provide a safe environment for all dancers.

Ms. Kim M. Gilchrist
Director & Choreographer
Ms. Kim has been a performer, choreographer, instructor and judge for dance teams, color guards, marching bands and senior drum corps in Central NY and Southeastern WI since 1985. She has been an active member and/or instructor for both high school and junior high teams that have won local, state and national titles. She was selected as a Captain of her high school dance team and a Marching Auxiliaries All-American Dancer during her Senior year. She absolutely LOVES creating ALL of the choreography, formations, costuming and music edits for our competition routines!!!
Ms. Kim also attends coaching conferences to continue learning and being inspired by other coaches and presenters from all over WI and the United States. In 2018, Ms. Kim was a part of the WACPC Dance Committee and a District 4 At-Large Rep for years.

Ms. Kim has also been trained in Youth/Child First Aid & CPR. She also has full "Green Light" background checks through USASF and the School District of Waukesha.

Ms. Kim is delighted to have the opportunity to work with the Waukesha South Marching Band Color Guard and encourages all high students to give it a try!

Petite Team Assistant Coach
Jeni Campos-Smith
Jeni is currently a Dual Language Teacher at Banting Elementary in Waukesha. We appreciate having her coach with us to help communicate better with our bilingual dancers.

Jeni has previous dance team and cheer experience.
Jeni's daughter has been a part of Gold Attitude since 2018. Jeni has been extremely helpful as an Assistant with the Nuggets and Petite Teams for several years.

Shanell Marks
Select Team Assistant Coach
Shanell was part of her high school dance team and colorguard. She has been a helpful Assistant for several years.
​
Her daughter has been a member of Gold Attitude for eight years starting with the Petite Team and now currently with Select & Encore Teams.
​
Shanell works as a Special Education Assistant at Waukesha South HS. She is also an Assistant with the Blackshirt Marching Band's Colorguard.
